NAYELO / Help
Get started with Nayelo
Install Nayelo, choose a model and stay in control of permissions.
Install on your Mac
Download the official DMG and drag Nayelo to Applications. Requires macOS 27 and Apple silicon. Do not disable Gatekeeper to bypass an issue; contact us with the app version.
Choose a model
The local Apple model needs Apple Intelligence enabled and ready. Connect your own account or key in Settings → Connections for other services. No creator account is preconnected.
Attach a document
Use “+” beside the composer: UTF-8 text or PDFs with extractable text. Up to 10 documents per conversation, 10 MB and 100,000 characters per document. No OCR of scanned PDFs.
Understand permissions
Confirm changes is the default. Read only blocks changes and commands; Allow everything can act without individual confirmation with your Mac account’s rights. It is not a sandbox. Home actions retain their own confirmation.
Choose iCloud
Optional sync of selected categories in your own iCloud. It is not instant; automatic cycles are spaced. Accounts, keys and Mac permissions stay local.
Lock the interface
The optional lock uses macOS authentication. It hides the interface without adding file encryption.
Update
Settings → Updates offers manual or optional automatic checks, at most once a day. The signed feed and download are checked before opening the DMG. No silent installation.
Get help
Email Contact@fixelio.fr with version, macOS and a description without sensitive data. Never send API keys or tokens. A locally exported diagnostic is not sent automatically.
Enable the companion
Enable it in Settings → Companion if you wish. A compact bubble opens first; Reply expands the composer and history, while Collapse keeps your draft. Pause, quiet mode and display selection are available. The visual routine runs locally even without Apple. Occasional suggestions use Apple locally only; dialogue can use Apple or an already connected service you explicitly choose. Memories are optional, editable and erasable, and stay on this Mac, separate from conversations and iCloud. The companion hides during locking, sleep or full screen.
